I love the QT chain. My second visit now, 2 different locations but knowing the style, beds and level of service is fantastic. I was traveling with other family so had 2 rooms and they kindly gave us the connecting rooms which was very considerate. Beds super comfortable and I love the moody, eclectic styling. Planning on more stays with QT. Also seems like it's pretty friendly, we noted a dog staying!

Our room was perfect, with beautiful personal touches throughout. The staff were incredibly lovely from the moment we arrived until our departure, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. We would especially recommend the Snapper Crudo and the Duck Breast for anyone looking to try something a little different. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Located 10 min walk from Newcastle beach and in a good location for food and drinks! Staff are very hospitable and accommodating. Self check-in and check-out is quick and easy. Rooftop is nice and gives a nice view of the harbor.

Have stayed here many times now and QT Newcastle always delivers a consistent exceptional experience. Great clean rooms and restaurant/bar offering. What makes QT Newcastle exceptional is the staff and their attentive, friendly approach. Special shout out to Malory, Cherie, Lady, Mia and Billie who made this stay another awesome one

QT Newcastle was the perfect choice for a one-night stop and left a strong impression from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff were beyond professional and genuinely friendly, setting the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. We kicked things off with snacks and drinks at the rooftop bar, which was a great way to unwind and take in the atmosphere. Dinner at Jana was a highlight — refined, well-executed dishes in a space that felt both stylish and welcoming. Breakfast the next morning at Deli QT was equally impressive, with excellent coffee and a solid menu that made it hard to rush out the door. The hotel’s lunar-inspired theme is subtle yet brilliant — creative without being overdone — and adds real character to the space. Parking was also refreshingly easy, with clear access to the adjoining Woolworths car park easy to find. We parked our vehicle first and then made our way to check in. Then, a simple process of collecting the parking voucher from staff at when checking out the next morning. Location-wise, QT Newcastle couldn’t be better. It’s ideal for exploring the city, with trams, the foreshore, and key attractions all close by. Stylish, comfortable, and effortlessly well run — a standout stay and one we’d happily repeat

Newcastle is so lucky to have a QT hotel. We have been lucky to stay in these hotels around Australia and NZ and they do not disappoint. The area is spot on being close to beaches, redevelopment and lots of bars and restaurants. Staff are all super helpful, rooms are quirky but just brilliant how they use space, and finally they even have Janas in the lobby for a casual drink and a rooftop bar guess where. PS parking is in the Woolies Metro behind the hotel....$35 a night.

I travel a lot and QT Newcastle is honestly the best place I’ve stayed in many years. The staff are outstanding, the rooms are gorgeously appointed, and the mini bar is fabulous. The restaurant is excellent and the whole experience is incredibly well priced. The location is perfect — you can walk everywhere, hop on the tram nearby, and it’s just moments from the riverfront. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you for an outstanding experience
